The Olympian football team suffered its first loss of the season with a 28-7 defeat to Golden West College on Saturday. As expected, the Rustlers played tough, Mesa must now regroup and refocus immediately before facing their next opponent.
The SD Mesa College football team will go for its third consecutive win at home on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. against Golden West College. The Olympians are currently undefeated (2-0) along with Fullerton College and Riverside College in the National Southern League.

Olympians defeat cross town rival Southwestern college 39-25, in back to back seasons.
Olympians defeated Southwestern in 2019 to take the crown and the title "Kings of the County" defeating all 3 San Diego County juco football programs.
Olympians did it again, defeating Palomar and Southwestern this season retaining the crown.

San Diego, CA – Saturday night, SD Mesa hosted their first conference game against Saddleback College. Saddleback went into halftime with a lead of 14-7. However, the Olympians didn’t let that stop them. After halftime, the Olympians stopped the Bobcats from scoring again. The Olympians ended up beating the Bobcats 31-14. This was a big win for the Olympians. After this win, the Olympians are now ranked 7th overall.
Next up, the Olympians travel to San Bernardino Valley on Saturday, October 23rd. Kickoff is at 6pm.

Back on September 11, San Diego Mesa took a hard lose to Ventura College (Mesa 21 – Ventura 49).
