The San Diego Mesa College men's and women's cross country teams are proud to announce that 16 of their student-athletes have earned Academic All-State distinction.
We are thrilled to announce that Kais Kimuli, a proud product of Mt. Carmel High School, has been named the San Diego Mesa College Female Co-Athlete of the Year award. Kimuli recently captured the 2024 3C2A State title with a 13.98 45’10.5 throw in the shot put.
The San Diego Mesa College track and field team concluded the 2024 season, with the men’s team securing a third-place finish and the women’s team placing fifth. Despite the women’s team not achieving a podium finish this season, head coach Sean Ricketts emphasized the team's performance by scoring more points than the previous season.
