In a tight finish to the season, the women's badminton team narrowly missed capturing the South Coast Conference title, succumbing to the eventual champions, Pasadena City College, in two fiercely contested and dramatic matches.

The San Diego Mesa College women's badminton team continues its solid play in the highly competitive South Coast Conference. 

The women's badminton team is ready to attack the 2025 season with lots of excitement and promise. Building on a strong 10-2 conference record and two impressive wins against DeAnza College, a traditional powerhouse in badminton, this team returns a mix of veteran leadership with talented first year players.

After securing the doubles title last year with Erica Garcia Badaracco, Megan Nguyen has again emerged as the state doubles champion, partnering with freshman sensation Mylene Keophaseut. Nguyen’s victory is San Diego Mesa College's first two-time individual badminton title.
