June 27, 2023Mark Wanda, former SD Mesa assistant coach, wins national championship with LSU. Wanaka served as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at San Diego Mesa College for four seasons. In his four years at SDMS, the team’s ERA dropped from 5.66 to 3.72, and it earned 2012 Pacific Coast Conference championship.

Shane Hofstadler named PCAC Athlete of the Week
April 08, 2022San Diego, CA - The spring season is heading into the home stretch before the regional playoffs. The top athletes in the PCAC are starting to heat up. Hofstadler had an amazing week leading to him earning PCAC AOW. "Hofstadler pulled off a rare feat this past week for Mesa when homered in every game for the Olympians. He finished 4-for-11 for the week, scoring four runs with eight RBI in a three-game series against San Diego City. Hofstadler is now tied for second in the state in home runs after this past week" (PCAC).
