Dennis Miller is entering his first full season as Assistant Coach for Mesa College Women’s Basketball.  He served as a part-time volunteer last year.  Coach Miller has had a lifetime passion for sports.  He played high school basketball, football & baseball in Iowa.  Upon graduating, he went into the U.S Air Force and became an Air Traffic Controller.  While stationed in England, he played Division I and II club basketball.

Prior to joining Mesa, Coach Miller coached high school basketball and football in San Diego, starting in 2003.  He has coached at Scripps Ranch High School, Kearny High School, La Jolla Country Day and most recently served as Head Coach at San Pasqual High School for the women's basketball team.  In his first year at San Pasqual, Coach Miller helped the team win a league title, which was a first in over 24 years.  Coach Miller has worked at Nike basketball camps and Point Guard College camps. 

Coach Miller has been active in several community organizations including Volunteer San Diego and the San Diego Food Bank.
