The San Diego Mesa College, Coach of the Year award is based on peer nominations and voting among all the head coaches in our athletic department. This year the Coach of the Year award is being award to the Head Coach of Women’s Soccer, Todd Curran. 

When our athletic director, Ryan Shumaker, was asked about Todd, he replied, “Todd has enjoyed a decorated career with San Diego Mesa College Women’s Soccer, including over 300 wins, numerous PCAC championships and CCCAA playoff berths. Todd’s legacy was recently capped with a runner-up finish in the 2019 CCCAA State Championships, cementing his name into the history books as one of the most decorated coaches in Mesa history.” Shumaker followed with “this honor is well deserved.”
