#14 Women's Basketball Return to Postseason Play, Hosts #19 Pasadena City College

For the first time in 11-years, the San Diego Mesa College women's basketball team is headed to the playoffs! 

The #14 seed Olympians will host #19 Pasadena City College at Mesa College on Wednesday, February 22. Game is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. 

The Lancers finished with a 15-13 overall record and was 4-4 in the South Coast Conference. The team is led by sophomore Tena Ikidi who averages 14.7 points per game followed by sophomore Maiya Villanueva with 12.8. As a team, they average 61.9 points per game and shoots 25.2% from the 3-point line. 

The Olympians finished the regular season with a 17-11 overall record and was 9-5 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. The Olympians are led by Gwen Morris-Lundstrom with a 10.4 points per game average followed by Niki Madgedi with 9.5. In 27 games, the team averaged 56.2 points per game and shot 24.3 from the 3-point line.
