"My decision to attend SD Mesa was mainly based on my love for the game. I had initially planned to run track in college but after my final season of basketball my decision to continue to hoop was clear. I knew that wherever I was, I would want to be playing basketball. When I stumbled across Mesa, I started looking into their basketball program. After watching game footage and reading more into it, I found that what really drew me to Mesa was the team culture and the school’s effort to create such a welcoming, diversified environment. I am really happy about my decision to play ball at Mesa.”

6. What are you most looking forward to with the upcoming season?

7. How have you been able to train during COVID?

"COVID-19 has been the ultimate test for individuals to respond to adversity. I feel like the coaching staff and organization did a really great job setting up a system for our players to excel in our own places. Starting in the summer, we have had consistent zoom calls and workouts throughout the week. In our remote time together, we bond with one another and go to a court to practice as a team. This year has been much different than any of the rest. When season comes, we will all be able to see what teams used this to grow and get better.”
