June Andrews has been with Mesa since 2003. Coach Andrews has over 25 years of experience as a coach and educator.
Since 1992, Coach Andrews has been a high school coach at Madison High (1992-2002) and Mission Bay High (2002-present) for volleyball, basketball, softball, badminton, tennis, cross country, and track and field. Coach Andrews started out at Mesa as an Assistant Softball Coach in 2003-2004. She served as the Women's Basketball Assistant Coach from 2010-2012, as well as the Men's Tennis Assistant Coach from 2008-2014.
She holds a Master's Degree in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University (2001) and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Anthropology/Single-Subject Teaching Credential from the University of San Diego (1992).
Coach Andrews played intercollegiate softball at the University of San Diego where she was named team captain for all 4 years and recognized as MVP her sophomore year at the 2nd base position. In addition, she was nominated Academic All-American her senior year at USD while placing high on the Dean's List 7 out of 8 college semesters.
Coach Andrews lives in Old Town, and enjoys staying active by swimming, playing tennis and also playing badminton. She loves walking her dog to the beach alongside her husband.
