The San Diego Mesa College men's volleyball team achieved a historic victory, capturing their first Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Championship in program history. The team's title was secured after they defeated Miramar College 25-14, 25-22, 25-18. Head coach David Proffitt expressed immense pride in the team's achievement, stating, "Winning the conference is a big deal for our program. Miramar is a great team, and our team was focused and looking forward to getting some payback tonight. We got it. We are proud to bring home the title."

Before the game, the Olympians had a one-game advantage over Miramar College. Mesa's overall record stood at 18-4, with a conference record of 6-1. On the other hand, Miramar College had a record of 11-6, with a conference record of 6-2. The victorious team in the game would be declared the winner of the title.

Coach Proffitt admired the team's hard work and dedication, saying, "I am proud of how the guys dedicated themselves throughout the season. We ask a lot of our athletes in terms of training, lifting, and film. They deserve this win tonight because of all the sacrifices they made."

With the conference title secured, the Olympians will focus on the next challenge: the regional playoffs, which will begin on Friday, April 19.
