Mesa Men's Track Excels at Willie Williams Classic in Arizona

With the season well underway, the San Diego Mesa College men’s track and field team showcased their talents at the  Willie Williams Classic at the University of Arizona. 

Luke Yruretagoyena impressed turning in a 47.39 (State A)  in the 400 meter which is #1 in the state and #5 all-time. 

With conference championships around the corner, the Olympians appear primed for more success. A strategic plan the coaching staff sets in place yearly.  Led by standout veterans and hungry newcomers alike, this squad has proven its talent and determination time and again. Expect big things from this team as the 2024 campaign winds down.
