Mesa opened the 2013 season at the Don Johnson Classic at Cypress College. The classic is named after long time Cypress College coach Don Johnson. Mesa played Cypress (W 92-86), Chaffey (L 69-86) and L.A. Harbor (W 70-69). Pictured is Novian Cherry who was named to the All-Tournament Team after scoring 64 points in 3 games.
