Bio:

Coach Bobbie Jo Stall has been coaching with Volleyball (Indoor and Beach) since the 2016 season. She has over a decade of education and coaching experience.

Coach Stall holds a Master's Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine and a Bachelor in Communications/Public Relations with a Minor in Sports Studies from East Carolina University. In addition, Coach Stall received an Associates of Arts degree from San Diego Mesa College.

Coach Stall coached her alumni at San Marcos High School from 2011-2017 where her Lady Knights won a CIF DII Championship and a League Championship in 2017. Her squad made an appearance in the CIF DIII Finals in 2013 and was the league runner-up in 2016. In her final season with the Lady Knights, she was awarded CIF Coach of the Year Honor for the 2017 season.

She volunteer-assisted at Cal State San Marcos in both the indoor and sand programs (2013-2014) in which time CSUSM won conference and transitioned from NAIA to NCAA DII.

Coach Stall also has extensive club volleyball experience. She currently coaches at one of the top 10 clubs in the nation, Wave Volleyball Club in Del Mar, CA. From 2012-2017 Coach Stall was a coach, Boys/Beach Program Director, Marketing Director and Special Events Coordinator at SoCal Volleyball Club. Prior to that, she coached at Texas Advantage Volleyball Club in Dallas, TX.

Coach Stall (also referred to as Coach Bo-Jo) encourages her athletes to stay extremely motivated, focused and disciplined. She believes that building character, confidence and a desire for high levels of achievement, both on and off the court, is the key to a successful program.

Coach Stall played her collegiate career at NCAA DI East Carolina University, CCCAA San Diego Mesa and NCAA DII Cal State San Bernardino as a middle blocker, but also played opposite and outside. After red-shirting at CSUSB, she transferred to Mesa where her team won consecutive undefeated PCAC Conference Championships and made it to the state semi-finals. She is Mesa's all time hitting percentage leader. At ECU she out blocked and out hit all players at the Conference-USA Volleyball Tournament in 2008. She tied East Carolina's single match blocking record and finished her career there leading in hitting percentage both seasons.

Coach Stall was a four-year letter winner at San Marcos High School, where she was the team MVP, captain and received all-league honors. She also played basketball, softball, track and field. She played club volleyball at San Diego Volleyball Club where her 18-1 team finished in the top 5 at Volleyball Nationals in 2005.

Coach Stall was born and raised in Gallup, New Mexico, but moved to San Marcos in 2003 where she now resides. She enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, golfing, playing guitar, watching football and loves spending time with her husband Dennis, family, friends, and dogs Lilly and Layla.
