Mojica and Gomez earn PCAC February Athletes of the Month award

The Pacific Coast Athletic Conference have named sophomores Jaiden Mojica and Myah Gomez conference athletes of the month for February. 

Mojica and Gomez, playing the #1 slot have led the charge for the Olympians, who have won four matches in a row and are currently 8-0 in the conference (12-6 overall). 

Head coach Kim Lester mentions that both Myah and Jaiden were a perfect match from the start. She adds, “Their chemistry on the court is undeniable—they complement each other seamlessly. Both are exceptional players with high beach IQs, and they make the game look effortless. What stands out even more is their love for the game. Every day, they continue to improve, and I have complete confidence in their abilities to take their game to new heights.” 

In their last three games, the duo have defeated their opponents in straight sets:

vs. El Camino College 21-11, 21-19 
vs. Palomar College 21-14, 21-18 
vs. San Diego City College 21-12, 21-9
