UPDATE: Mesa Beach Volleyball Captures Back-to-Back-to Back Conference Titles

The women's beach volleyball team has achieved yet another remarkable feat by winning their third consecutive Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship. Today's victories against Palomor College and San Diego City College (4-1 and 5-0, respectively) have helped the Olympians finish the regular season with an outstanding 16-3 overall record, including a 9-1 record in the conference. MiraCosta College secured second place with an 8-3 record, followed by Grossmont College in third place with 7-3. Notably, the team's only two losses this year were to non 3C2A programs, University of Nebraska and Saint Katherines University.

Head coach Kim Lester lauded her team, stating, "We have been working tirelessly in practice, and I have the utmost confidence in our abilities to win 1 through 5." She proudly acknowledged the undefeated Madison Daniels and Jaiden Mojica, who played exceptionally well at the #5 slot, adding that "they play with remarkable freedom and are the ultimate pair in terms of chemistry."

Emily Eltrich and Victoria Goff, who held the #2 slot, continue to impress with their consistently excellent performances. Coach Lester noted that their partnership has strengthened over time, with each week bringing further improvement. "I can always rely on them to give their all and compete," she said.

The team now has five days to prepare for the upcoming PCAC Pairs Championships, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, April 24, at Mt. San Jacinto College. The SoCal Regionals will commence on Tuesday, April 30, followed by the So Cal Pairs on May 3 and the State Championships on May 9. Finally, the Pairs State Championships will be held on May 10.
