Announcement:

San Diego Mesa College beach volleyball coach Kim Lester has been named 2023 PCAC Coach of the Year. This is the second consecutive year for Lester, having won the same award last season. 

The women's team also went back-to-back, capturing the conference crown with a perfect 12-0 record, 22-3 overall. 
The team also had eight student-athletes named on the PCAC All-Conference Team:

* Maddie Harris, Sophomore, Del Norte HS
* Victoria Goff, Freshman, Gregori HS
* Isabelle Bakken, Sophomore, Oceanside HS
* Nicole Eden, Sophomore, Oceanside HS
* Maya Jessee, Sophomore, Mission Bay HS 
* Emily Eltrich, Freshman, Bullard HS

Prior to coaching beach volleyball, Lester guided the women's volleyball team, and was awarded coach of the year in 2006, 2007, 2013. In 2004, she was awarded the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference All Sports Coach of the Year.
