Energy, passion, hardwork, leadership - a few words used by Coach Lester to describe San Diego Mesa's volleyball player Michelle Mercado.

Mercado played as captain and libero for indoor volleyball, and as captain and teammate in beach volleyball. SHe has been an Olympian athlete for 2 years now, and now, she is headed to the next level!

Mercado will attend San Diego Christian College on scholarship in fall 2017. San Diego Christian College participates with the NAIA and is located in Santee, California.
