As 7 sophomores were recognized at their last home game, the Mesa women's water polo defeated visiting Southwestern 17-4 to stay unbeaten in conference play at 8-0 and head into the conference tournament as the # 1 seed.

All 13 players, including goalie Madi Atkins scored at least one goal in a rout of SWC. Bailey Wickliffe who leads the conference in goals scored at 74 tallied 3 in the first quarter to help Mesa jump to a 7-0 lead. Ellie Williams and Emily Helton each scored 2 goals.

Mesa is currently ranked # 2 in Southern California.
