Mesa women's team goes 3-1 in San Diego women's Classic Tournament and reaches championship game but suffers first loss of season with a 8-9 overtime loss to San Joaquin Delta.

Despite 5 goals from Bailey Wickliffe and 3 from Cassie Bernas Mesa was unable to hold a one goal lead late in the game as Delta tied it before outscoring Mesa 2-1 in overtime.

Mesa opened the tournament with a 13-1 win over conference foe Southwestern then went on to beat Citrus 11-4 and Grossmont 9-4 to reach the finals. Mesa is now 12-1 on the season.
