Four different players scored in the first quarter to help Mesa jump out to a 4-0 lead. Two more in the second made it 6-0 before Grossmont got on the board. Bailey Wickliffe led all scorers with 4, one in each quarter and Cassie Bernas, Ellie Williams, Jaicey Tyler and Lilli Lindgard each added one goal. Sophomore goalie Madi Atkins had her usual stellar defensive game with 13 saves.

Mesa is now in first place in conference at 5-0 and 9-0 overall.
