Brittany Garrido, dual year goalkeeper for San Diego Mesa women's soccer team, accepts scholarship with the University of the Southwest, New Mexico. Garrido will become a Mustang in fall 2017, saying goodbye to her Olympian roots.

Garrido, with 6 conference shutouts and only 3 conference goals against, lead the 2016 San Diego Mesa women's soccer team to playoffs with an overall record of 16-3-2. Outstanding!

Garrido will continue as goalkeeper at the University of the Southwest, and will undoubtedly find huge success in her hardwork, positive attitude and vibrant personality as a player. Thank you Brittany.
