UPDATE:
The San Diego Mesa College women's basketball team defeated West LA College 50-43 in the first round of the 2024 3C2A Women's Basketball SoCal Regionals. 

The Olympians were led by Alethze Marquez who scored a team-high 16 points, 17 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Mackenzee Purnell finished with 13 points, and 9 rebounds, including two crucial free throws with 35  seconds left to increase the lead by 4. 

The team will travel north to take on #1 seed Mt. San Antonio College on Saturday, March 2. Time to be determined.
