The San Diego Mesa College men’s basketball team will continue conference play as they travel south on Interstate 5 to take on San Diego City College. 

After going 1-2 at the Cuyamaca College Classic, the Olympians continue to look for a strong performance by sophomore Steve Stinton. Stinson currently leads the team with a 16.0 point per game average. At the Cuyamaca College tournament, Stinson scored 17 points against Cuyamaca, 23 points against Antelope Valley College, and 16 points against East Los Angeles. Freshman Isaiah Baker is another player to keep an eye on. During the 97-84 win against Antelope Valley College, Baker contributed 18 points and followed that performance scoring 10 points against East Los Angeles College. 

San Diego City College is currently 11-3 overall and sits atop the conference with a 2-0 record. Game is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start.
