San Diego Mesa’s athletic department placed 9^th in the Daktronics Cup (formerly known as NATYCAA Cup) for the 2019-20 calendar year. This 9^th place ranking is out of 108 other 2 year programs. The Daktronics Cup measures the top 5 finishes in each gender, awarding points depending on their final ranking. 

San Diego Mesa College had 5 of our fall sports advance to conference: Men’s Water Polo, Men’s Cross Country, Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Cross Country, and Women’s Soccer. Amongst our men’s sports, water polo won conference and cross country won conference, SoCal, and the State Championship. Women’s volleyball won conference and placed 5^th in SoCal and women’s cross country placed 2^nd in conference. Lastly, Women’s soccer won conference and placed 2^nd in State. 

Due to the Coronavirus, the Daktronics Cup based their rankings solely off of fall sports.
