The Southern California Diving Regionals recently concluded, with several Olympians individually qualifying for the State Championships, which will be held on May 2 at Orange Coast College.
Among these divers are Maria Teresa Rodriguez Rivera, who secured second place with a total score of 202.85. Rodriguez Rivera also placed second in the PCAC. Additionally, America Bustillos earned a spot in the State Finals, placing seventh in the 1-meter with 180.80 points. Maria Teresa Rodriguez Rivera also qualified for the State Championships by placing fourth with 193.50 points in the 3-meter event.
In the men's division, Dylan McQuade secured his place in the State Championships with a total score of 157.65 points. He also secured second place in the 3-meter event with a total score of 192.45 points.
