Olympians tested with another five-set thriller, beats Fullerton to remain undefeated

The Olympians were once again tested and pushed to the limit with another five-set thriller.  In the end, the Olympians came out the victor with a 25-17, 20-25, 21-25, 25-20, 15-7 win against Fullerton College.

The first set, neither team could create any separation, both teams tied at 8. After the 16th point, Mesa started to flex its muscle, creating an 8 point lead at 16-9. Mesa would close out the first set at 25-17.

The coaching staff knew that Fullerton College was going to come out strong in the second set. As expected, the Hornets with strong play from the service line, and strong attacks, captured the second set 20-25. The momentum clearly on the Hornets side, they proceeded to capture the third-set 21-25. 

With their back against the wall, the Olympians captured the fourth-set 25-20. The shift in momentum could be felt in the arena, and with continued stellar play from Letuligasenoa and Brandon Underwood, the Olympians sealed the match at 15-7 in the fifth-set.
