VOLLEYBALL WINS 2ND IN A ROW AFTER 3-2 WIN AGAINST MT. SAN JACINTO COLLEGE

 

Women’s volleyball continued their winning ways after a thrilling 3-2 win against Mt. San Jacinto College.  

“It was a great game for both teams that went down to the wire. We started the game slow, but we were able to execute and take both the 2nd and 3rd set,” explains head coach Bobbie Jo Stall. “Mt. San Jacinto took the 4th set which brought us to a 5thand deciding set. We were able to play as a cohesive unit and pulled it off 15 – 13. Anytime a match is this close, it literally comes down to a couple of plays that makes all the difference.”

Sophomore Raven Casas led the team with 26 kills. The team also finished with 18 blocks, the highest of the season to date. 

The final score of the match 23-25, 25-21, 25-11, 14-25, 15-13. 

The team will look to make it three in a row as they face Cuyamaca College on Wednesday, October 3. Game starts at 5:00 p.m.
