As head coach of the San Diego Mesa women's soccer team, Todd Curran has established the Olympian's as a perennial powerhouse in Community College women's soccer. In 19 years, Todd has amassed 282-88-50 overall record in nineteen seasons (.731 Winning Percentage), 9 Pacific Coast Conference Championships (2000,2003,2004,2007, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2016). Coach Curran was named Pacific Coast Conference Coach of the Year for the 2000 season and Women's Coach of the Year for the conference in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016.

In addition to his local success, Coach Curran has guided the Olympians to the Southern California Regional Playoffs 16 out of 19 seasons, reaching the Regional Finals 4 times and Regional Semi-Finals 4 times. In 2008, he led them to their first ever Final Four appearance. In the recent past the Olympians have received national recoginition to the Women's Soccer Program with consectutive Final National Rankings of #6 (2008), #9 (2007), and #20 (2016) as recognized by the NSCAA.

In his nineteen years at Mesa, Coach Curran has had 101 all conferences selections, 7 conference players of the year, 23 NSCAA All-Far West Regional Players and 4 NSCAA All-Americans. Coach Curran also had the pleasure of coaching the current Mexican National Team Goalkeeper, Sophia Perez, who competed for Mesa in 2000 and 2001. The women's soccer program is extremely pleased with the numerous ladies which have pursued their academic and athletic goals at such institutions as San Diego State, UC San Diego, Middle Tennessee State, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Dominguez and Abilene Christian to name a few.

Coach Curran received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology at UC San Diego. While there, he also played four years of intercollegiate soccer, where he led the Tritons to post-season play in three of the four years, winning NCAA National Championships in 1991 and 1993. Coach Curran went on to receive his Master's degree in Kinesiology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Coach Curran's coaching resume includes the Assistant Coach to women's soccer at Cuesta College, the boy's varsity Head Coach at Mission Prep High School and trainer of the U17 San Luis Obispo Roadrunners Soccer Club. More recently, Coach Curran was named the Assistant Coach for the U18 Cal South Olympic Development team that won the Western Regional and took home the Silver Medal at the 2001 National Championships. During his summers, he serves as a Staff Coach at the prestigious Santa Clara University Soccer Academy for girls and boys.

Besides his coaching duties, Coach Curran also serves as a full time professor at Mesa College. He teaches Exercise Physiology, Heath Education, Weight Training, Soccer and Spinning classes. He also is the Fitness Specialist Program Director for Mesa, which trains students to become personal trainers in one years time.

Coach Curran lives in Point Loma with his wife Bridget and three daughters. In his spare time he enjoys surfing, golf, traveling and relaxing on the beautiful beaches of San Diego.
