Tracy Schimelfenig is entering her first year as Assistant Coach for the San Diego Mesa women's basketball program.

Coach Schimelfenig played basketball at West Scranton High School.  She then went on to play collegiately at Marywood University in Scranton, PA, where she was a three year starting Guard.  She has coached youth basketball and has continued her love for the game playing in various women's basketball leagues throughout San Diego.

Coach Schimelfenig received her Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Marywood University in 1999 and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from California Western School of Law in 2004.  Coach Schimelfenig currently practices law in San Diego.
