Jaclyn Guidi is in her 14th year as Head Coach at San Diego Mesa College. She has 16 years of coaching experience at the Junior College level, and is currently a Professor of Exercise Science at San Diego Mesa College. Her professional education and experience add depth to the school's softball program.
Coach Guidi received her Master's Degree in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. Prior, Coach Giudi attended San Diego City College where she played shortstop and was 2nd team All-PCC. At Point Loma High School, Coach Giudi was recognized as an All-League Player her junior and senior years.
Coach Giudi strongly believes that athletics comes second to academics here at Mesa College, and she strives to have all of her student-athletes transfer to a University to finish their degree. Since 2005 Coach Guidi has helped over 40 student-athletes receive scholarships to play at the next level. In addition, Coach Giudi encourages her team to bat an average of over .300, and qualify for playoffs each year with an overall record above .500.
Coach Guidi has won 2 conference Championships for Mesa College in 2012 and 2013. Back to back Championships has never happened in the history of Mesa until Coach Giudi stepped up to plate. Additionally, Coach Guidi has had 4 playoff births during her time at SD Mesa.
Coach Guidi is married to Ryan Guidi and has two sons Michael and Mason. Coach Guidi works at JP Longball as a Head Instructor and is the CEO to Kids Steps to Success, a non-profit program giving underprivileged kids the opportunity to play baseball and softball.
