Aquatic Olympians Overwhelm Grossmont

The day started, and ended just as well for Mesa in their opening dual meet versus Grossmont College on Friday 3/3/2017 at the Joan Kroc Center. Sophomore Jesse Vanderkolk and Freshman Josh Fisher led a 1-2-3-4-5 sweep of the 3 meter and 1 meter diving events.  Alexandr Makhmudyantsev, a Freshman from Antelope High School in the Sacramento area, led the Olympians in two sweeping 1-2-3-4 finishes in the 100 (1:02.39) and 200 Breaststroke (2:19.66) events as San Diego Mesa overwhelmed host Grossmont College in a 233-61 victory.
