Coach Stucke is an Adjunct Professor here at San Diego Mesa College in the Exercise Science Department and is in his 3rd year as an Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach. He has over 20 years of experience, education, and intense passion now working as a Volleyball Coach, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and Personal Trainer.
Coach Stucke holds a degree in Exercise and Nutritional Science from San Diego State University, where he played Division I Volleyball from 1992-1997. During his time at SDSU, Coach Stucke was honored as a Scholar Athlete receiving both The "Big Red" and "Monty" Scholarship Awards for outstanding performance in the fields of athletics and academics and was also awarded the" Team Captains" Award during his senior year.
From 2004-2006, Coach Stucke filled a position on staff as an adjunct professor in the kinesiology department at San Diego City College. He served as Associate Head Women's Volleyball Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach and in 2006, Coach Stucke created SDCC's first Intercollegiate Men's Volleyball Program.
Coach Stucke served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Diego Padres from 2007-2010, and currently owns his own Sports Performance business, training some of the top athletes in San Diego!
Coach Stucke currently lives in Point Loma and enjoys playing golf, hanging out with friends, and spending quality time with his wife Janet and 1 year old son Jax.
