San Diego Mesa College secured the women's team title with a 68-91 victory against Mount San Antonio College at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional Championships at El Dorado Regional Park in Long Beach. Alexis Noble covered the 5-kilometer layout in 17:44.6 for the Olympians, with Joelle Tonne taking 13th in 18:47.7, Sophie Moser-Smith finishing 15th in 18:48.8, Kyana Cook securing 17th in 18:50.3, Madison Decker earning 32nd in 19:26.4 and Kate Touchet (20:06.2) and Haidyn McKenzie (20:13.2) grabbing 44th and 45th, respectively, for San Diego Mesa, which is seeking its first women's state title since 1994 on Nov. 18 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
