Conference Champions - Women's Water Polo

SD Mesa College women's water polo finished undefeated (6-0) this season in conference, with an overall record of 15-7. Two huge wins versus Miramar College (18-6) and Palomar College (10-7) in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Championship Tournament solidified the Olympians the #1 position in conference. Go Olympians!

The Olympian women are seeded eleventh in the Southern California Regional Championships and are scheduled to play Thursday, November 9th at 3:15 p.m versus sixth seed Citrus College.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - San Joaquin Delta and Santa Barbara City College have been selected as the top seeds for the upcoming California Community College Athletic Association Women's Water Polo Regionals, scheduled to begin later this week.

Delta will not only enter the Northern California Regional as the top seed but will also host the two-day tournament, which begins on Friday. Sierra, American River, West Valley, Santa Rosa, Foothill, Cabrillo and Merced are the remaining seeds, in order. L.A. Valley will host the Southern California Regional that starts on Thursday with four first-round games. Santa Barbara will have a bye along with the next three seeded teams: Orange Coast, Riverside City and Golden West. 

The top two teams from each regional will advance to the state championship tournament at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, Nov. 17-18.
