Bobbie Jo Stall Earns Coach of the Year

After guiding the Mesa College women’s volleyball team to the 2018 PCAC title, head coach Bobbie Jo Stall was voted by her peers as the 2018 PCAC Coach of the Year.

“It's an honor to be recognized by your peers, many of whom I look up to,” states Stall. “Any accolades after a successful season is good for the program. This helps bring positive recognition and puts Mesa back at the top.”

Mesa finished the year 17-13 with a 9-1 conference record. The Olympians advanced to the second round of regionals before falling to the #2 seed Bakersfield College 3-2.

“I give all the credit in the world to the entire staff,” adds Stall. “They all do a great job with certain aspects of the program. Coach Kim Lester has been a great mentor and has been a big help with game day prep, administrative tasks and overall being a great example to myself. Everyone plays a significant and important roll on the staff and I am so fortunate to have them all.”
