The San Diego Mesa College men’s and women’s track and field team travelled to Los Angeles on Saturday to compete at the Occidental Distance Classic. With three meets in the book, and as expected by the coaching staff, the results being turned in are improving.
The San Diego Mesa College track and field team recently competed at the California State Los Angeles Invite. Although the weather was less than ideal, the men’s team edged Cal State LA, a four-year program, 28-27 by placing top 3 in each of the event scored.

After a successful 2018 cross-country season, Isaiah Labra and Stefen Rasmuson were selected by the Mesa coaching staff to participate at the USA National Junior Cross-Country Championships held in Tallahassee, Florida.
