The San Diego Mesa College women’s swim and dive team defended its Pacific Coast Athletic Conference title for the fifth straight season, capturing the title with 783 points on Thursday at Southwestern College.
The spring season is nearing the end and summer is right around the corner. With conference play finished and regional play in full force, only a handful of athletes remain in contention for the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Athlete-of-the-Week Award.
This week's winners come from San Diego Mesa College and Palomar College. Mesa's Sydney Fortune and Palomar's Donovan Taylor earned the award after great performances at the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Swimming and Diving Meet last week.
San Diego Mesa's Diver, Ty Hunt, is your 2022 CCCAA State Champion in the 1 meter dive. Along with Hunt, San Diego Mesa's Women's and Men's Divers had a solid showing at the state championship.
Last Saturday, San Diego Mesa College Women's Swim and Dive team is the 2022 champions of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC), after winning the conference title this past Saturday at Southwestern College. This is the four straight PCAC title for the Olympians, dating back to 2017.

The Mesa Women's Swimming and Diving team completed one of their most successful seasons in program history by finishing in second place at the State Championships.
The San Diego Mesa women's swim and dive team captured the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship on Saturday at Southwestern College. The Olympians collected over 31% of the total points possible, winning 16 different events
The San Diego Mesa College women’s swim team is off to a great start at the 2019 Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Championships held at Southwestern College.
The Mesa women?s swimming and diving team won 15 of the 16 events beating Southwestern College, 178-55. The format for this PCAC dual meet was changed to offer the 50 & 100 stroke distances instead of the usual 100 & 200 distances.
The San Diego Mesa College men's and women's swim and dive team hosted Crafton Hills and Palomar College over the weekend. With the weather being less than ideal, both teams came out victorious.
The San Diego Mesa College men’s and women’s swim and dive team opened the 2019 season at the Waterman Festival. Named after former Palomar swim coach Patty Waterman, the meet signals the start of the 2019 season.
The San Diego Mesa College swim and dive team held their first ever alumni meet. With new rules allowing fall semester competitions the event brought together team members from the past with current members of the Olympian Swim / Dive team.
