Mesa Women Swim & Dive finish second at State Championships, win 2 events

The Olympians scored 332 points, a program high, and were led by two individual event wins and several runner-up performances both individually and on relays. Julie Parsons (200 Back) and Allyson Hansen (100 Free) captured individual state championships and both finished second in another event. Parsons in the 100 Back and Hansen in the 200 Free. Maya Fielding was runner-up in the 3-meter diving event and 6th in the 1-meter event. The 200 Free Relay team of Hansen, Zambrana, Lauer, Luiz finished second while the 800 Free Relay team of Hansen, Zambrana, Luiz, Parsons finished in 3rd place. The Olympians finished their third consecutive season undefeated in dual meet competition and won a third consecutive conference championship.
