Lady Olympians Conquer California

Conference Champions for the 5th consecutive year, San Diego Mesa women's soccer celebrates Olympian All-State and All-Southern California Regional players.

Natasha Camacho-Bier, our sophomore midfielder out of Point Loma High School and a transfer from NCAA Division II Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York, captures the All-State player title for fall 2017. Camacho-Bier also holds the 1st team All-Conference and Most Valuable Player awards in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference - South Division. Additionally, she received the conference Athlete of the Week honor in October 2017. Camacho-Bier scored 2 game winning goals (4 total) and assisted 4 times during the soccer season.

 

Our All-Southern California Regional players include Jaquelyn Neves and Karlyn Ironside.

 

In addition to the All-Southern Regional title, Jaquelyn Neves, our sophomore midfielder out of Point Loma High School, also captured the 1st team All-Conference award in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference - South Division. Neves scored a single goal and assisted 3 more during the soccer season.

 

 

 

Karlyn Ironside, our freshman out of Granite Hills High School and transfer from NCAA Division I California State Northridge, captured the 1st team All-Conference award in addition to the Defensive Player of the Year honor in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference - South Division. Ironside scored two goals during the soccer season and assisted 3 more.
