The San Diego Mesa women’s basketball team suffered its second loss in as many days, falling to Mira Costa College 70-47 at the Spartan Coast Classic.
Despite strong performance from the bench, the Olympians were missing key players due to finals exam scheduling.
“We need to focus throughout the entire game,” states head coach Dorchella James. “Our effort level needs to be one-hundred percent from the first whistle to the last. I do believe we are headed in the right direction.”
The team will continue play at the Spartan Coast Classic on Wednesday, December 19th as they take on Compton College at 4:00 p.m.
