Mesa bounces back, defeats San Bernardino Valley College 11-0

After losing 12-0 to Palomar College on Wednesday, dropping the team to third place in the PCAC, the Olympians rebounded with a strong win against conference foe San Bernardino Valley College 11–0.

The Olympians are now 20-7 overall and 6-2 in the conference. The top spot belongs to Southwestern College at 9-1, followed by Palomar College at 8-1.

Similar to games where the Olympians have played well, the team jumped out to 4-1 lead in the first two innings. Behind 13 hits and solid pitching once again from Karli Ramsey, the Olympians dominated throughout the game.

With two games on the road scheduled against a strong College of the Canyons team, the team must be firing on all cylinders to finish out the season strong. Similar to Mesa College, College of the Canyons is currently in a dogfight against Antelope Valley College for the top spot in the Western State Conference.

The team will travel to Santa Clarita, CA on Saturday, March 30 to take on Canyons. This game was rescheduled due to a rainout on February 16.
