San Diego Mesa College finished 24th Place in the Southern California Men's Cross Country Championships at Central Park in San Clarita on Friday, November 3.
Sufi Mansuri (74th, 22:44) and Jose Garcia (79th, 22:52) qualified for the Men's CCCAA State XC Championships. The top 20 individual finishers from non-qualifying teams who finish in the first half of the field qualify to the State Championships. The team improved it's team time by 1 minute and 42 seconds from the SoCal Preview Invite (same course) earlier in the season.
The next scorers were Josh Montgomery (123rd, 23:43), Louie LaRose (158th, 24:50), and Chris Valera (175th, 26:05).
On the Women's Team, Dina Grishchuck (85th, 21:47) qualified for the Women's CCCAA State XC Championships.
Dina, Sufi, and Jose now head to the CCCAA State XC Championships on Saturday, November 18.
