Men's Water Polo Gets Back in Win Column, 17-14 Over Miramar College

After dropping the last 4 games, including a one-point loss to Rio Hondo College, the men’s water polo team was able to get back on the win column by defeating Miramar College 17 – 14.

“It was a good win for the team. We had some disjointed plays, but we were able to overcome them and come out with a victory,” states head coach Nathan Resch. “I am satisfied how we adjusted defensively which led to good transition opportunities.”

Brendan McMahon (Pt. Loma HS) had an exceptional game scoring 3 goals, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Eric Orozco (University City High School) and Roman Rosser (The Bishop's School) totaled 4 heads up steals which helped seal the victory.

The team will be back in action on October 17 as they travel to Chula Vista to take on Southwestern College. Game time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
