Men's Swim & Dive Sweeps Southwestern

In dominating defense of the home pool, San Diego Mesa men's swimming and diving swept wins in all 16 diving, individual swimming and relay events on Friday, 3/17/17 vs Southwestern. The result runs the men's swimming and diving team's PCAC dual meet record to 2-0 on the season, and 8-0 over the past three years. The day kicked off with sophomore Jesse Vanderkolk winning both the 1 meter (175.60) and 3 meter events (206.30). Chris Evangelista doubled up wins in the 200 yard free (1:50.16) and 100 breast (1:06.59) in addition to leading off the winning 200 Medley relay.

The fate of a three-peat dual meet championship of the Olympians will be determined this Friday, when the men's and women's team takes on Palomar in the final PCAC Dual meet of the season at 1pm at Palomar pool.
