The Mesa men's basketball team traveled to Los Angeles on Saturday to take on Occidental College (JV).
One of the goals for the trip was to showcase and highlight our players at a four-year school in front of their coaching staff.
The Olympians did not disappoint.
The Olympians defeated Occidental College (JV) 85 - 75 with freshman Adrian Lee (Castle Park HS) leading the way with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
"I am glad we got this win," states head coach Travis Nichols. "Overall as a team we played well, but we still have a lot of work to do before conference starts.
The men's team will be back on the court on Friday, January 18 as they travel to Imperial Valley to take on Imperial Valley College. Game starts at 5:00 p.m.
