For his outstanding play during the week of April 25, 2019, Jacob Casson was honored as player of the week by the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association.

Jacob began the week for the Olympians with an outstanding effort on the mound. He threw 6 innings giving up just 5 hits, 0 walks, striking out 4 and leading him to his 6th win. His start got the momentum rolling for great week when the Olympians needed it the most.
